Why I Built the Leader's Health Check

There are few things worse than an unhealthy leader.

And I'll be honest. I am not a perfectly healthy one myself. I'm still working on it and probably always will be.

This has been on my mind for close to ten years. Coming out of the military, going to grad school, taking on new businesses. My wife being diagnosed with cancer. Then me being diagnosed with a small brain tumor. Trying to balance marriage and work, spiritual health and physical demands, mental health and everything else. What I've learned in all of it is that health isn't just a blood pressure check or an MRI. All of us have to figure out where we actually stand with the whole of our health, not just one piece of it.

When I went looking for help with that, I couldn't find it. No tool, no person, no easy answer.

Over the last few years a number of people have reached out to me hoping to find balance in an unbalanced world, smoother function in a dysfunctional lifestyle, and order in a disordered mind. Those conversations, plus my own experience and a lot of study, turned into something I've been working on for months. Now it's time to put it out there.

What it is

The Leader's Health Check is a free assessment covering seven areas of life: physical, mental, relational, social, spiritual, financial, and professional. It won't fix anything overnight. I wouldn't trust anything that claimed to. But it will help you see your most pressing needs, and that's where change starts.
